Mumbai Approves 25Km Elevated Road to Navi Mumbai Airport

Mumbai is set to transform its urban mobility with the approval of a 25-kilometre elevated road connecting Thane to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport.

This project, cleared by the Maharashtra state cabinet, aims to provide seamless and efficient access between the suburban region and the new aviation hub.

The elevated corridor is expected to significantly reduce travel time and ease congestion on existing highways, offering a direct and eco-friendly alternative.

This development is part of a broader infrastructure initiative, including Metro Line 11 and enhanced railway connectivity, reflecting Maharashtra’s commitment to modernizing its transport grid and promoting sustainable urban growth.
